Born in Weymouth and raised on the north coast of Cornwall but now surfing the streets of Manchester , Silva Surfa is the sound of a genuine respect for the past but enough youthful arrogance too surf it head on carving it into the future.

Silva Surfa's first ever recordings, The KatKave Sampler, was deemed Star Choice by Manchester 's City Life. Rough Trade branded the Badlands EP "...it has that special something" and UNCUT tagged Silva Surfa as "one to watch".
